Reflection and Feedback
My experience at Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine
studying Dr. Wu's Head Massage has been life changing. Although I had a
difficult time being away from home, it is important that I have carved
out something new and special for myself which can enhance my own
personal growth and development. Dr. Wu, Jim, May Liu, Nisha and the
office staff were overwhelmingly accommodating and kind. I'm not used to
people being so open and caring and upon reflection, I was only able to
receive these warm feelings to the best of my ability at the time. I
have since been able to feel the results of your open hearts and it use
it in my massage practicing.
Since practicing at home, I am learning how personally enriching
performing this massage can be. If my energy is low, I find that through
the treatment, I feel revitalized, centered and grounded. I am also
learning that I need to work on increasing my guardian chi because I
take on other people's pain when I do the massage. An example of a
recent experience of this includes a client experiencing emotional
stress associated with the gall bladder. While I was performing the
massage, my right side near my lver started to cramp. I hope my Qigong
practice can help in developing the guardian chi necessary to protect me
from these unnecessary feelings and help others be responsible for their
own healing. Another client has expressed improved success at
chiropractic treatments as a result of receiving four head massages.
My life is full of many changes right now, all requiring wisdom and
energy. Being passionate about sharing Dr. Wu's Head Massage with others
creates a bright light in my future. I am looking forward to returning
to Toronto to participate in Level II; and this time brining family with
me to share in the joy of this new experience. |

At first when I received Wu's Head Massage, I felt relaxed and
energized. This feeling encouraged me to learn it to help others as
well. This course has benefited my life by helping gain confidence in
treating others. I enjoyed the instructors and my fellow students. My
only regret was not knowing Mandarin before I came here. However, this
minor problem did not discourage me. I truly enjoyed this course. Thank
you! |

I have heard about Wu's
Head Massage long time ago. Now I have the chance to come to OCTCM to
learn this miraculous therapy. With the excellent teaching of Dr. Ben Wu
and the supervision of teaching team, I have learned all the techniques
and methods of Wu's Head Massage. I applied what I learned and did head
massage to my mother, who has suffered from migraine and dizziness for
years. After severed treatments with Wu's Head Massage, my mother is
getting much better now. No more headache. No more faint.
MIRACULOUS !!!!! |

I will definitely use the face massage in my regular massage practice --
the new face techniques are very applicable to my clients.
- I learned some new
techniques for headaches, goiter problem etc.
- I enjoyed learning
the medical applications
- I would like to
learn more of this
- A lot of my
clients were over enjoyed at the sample treatments I gave them - it
relaxed them more than
my regular
massage
I enjoy learning new things and this course gave me a challenge. I now
understand a little more about meridians and the Eastern philosophy of
Yin & Yang.
I plan to implement this new course material with my regular massage
treatments. I have not seen anyone else in my area doing this yet.
I usually like to write a summary of this course and its application to
others, how it can benefit others. That way I can introduce it to others
be it clients to other massage therapists.
I would recommend the course as it has high standards and is recognized
international. |

Dr. Wu's Head Massage is very helpful for people in office, computer's
line staff. I have some comments from the clients, e.g. release stress
feel relaxes, very things are beautiful.
For myself, is a big help for massaging the head because I understand
the meridians, points of the body, which control and helping the body's
organs. The hands and fingers and movement.
After the Wu's Head Massage treatment I feel I am getting stronger, more
happy in my life. Especially my face changes a lot from my friend's
comments.
Anyway, I enjoy my classmates and teachers. Thanks a lot! |

A unique course for natural healing. Dr. Wu's head massage course
teaches one to treat one's problems from the head. It is logical to
"fix" the body from the head down as the head is like the "CPU" of a
computer. The human brain (which is the "CPU") is the head, so the head
should be taken care of first.
My wife sleeps very well after my head massage service. I think this
kind of massage is good for facial and longevity as well! |

Dr. Wu's head massage has wooden my knowledge of traditional Chinese
medicine and given an invaluable tool to help my patient to overcome
illness and disease. I highly recommend this course to anyone who
is serious about helping people and for the serious Traditional Chinese
Medicine student. |

I really enjoyed this training. I have taken the courses while training
with the Fire Department (CPR First Aid). But I enjoyed this the most. I
appreciate the time Dr. Wu and James spent with us. My wife and I are
planning on opening a Spa. So I may use this at that time. If this
doesn't work out I'm happy to have this supervise to use on family and
friends. I will miss this school. Perhaps I will have an importunately
to come back again.
Thank you very much also for fitting me. |
